If I Become A Follower Of Jesus, Will I Become Rich?

Hi, this is John Beckett. A question that some have asked is, "If I become a follower of Jesus, will I become rich?" Well, I can't answer that question. I have no way of knowing your circumstances or what might happen if you decide to change your direction in life. But if you ask that question in non-financial terms, I can just imagine that you will experience of level of peace, a level of joy, a sense of purpose, that you've never known before. There are many ways to define riches that go beyond finances. My wife, Wendy, and I have 6 children and 18 grandchildren, and when we're together as a family, there isn't any kind of metric you can put on that in financial terms. It's all about relationships. It's all about our love for one another. So, do think in terms of the broader aspects of what reward comes with becoming a follower of Jesus Christ.
